Bella Vista

Bella Vista, Italian for beautiful view, was built and delivered in 2010 to Bella Balloons.  She stands 75 feet tall, and holds 105,000 cubic feet of hot air.  Her spacious basket accommodates pilot plus 4 passengers very comfortably.  Bella Vista has flown hundreds of passengers, and has attended the MidUSA Balloon Challenge in Middletown, Coney Glow in Cincinnati, the Warren County Fair, Balluminaria, and numerous other venues.  She holds the record of "Coldest Bella Balloons Flight Ever", which occurred in January 2011 when she launched from Lebanon in -11F, carrying a nervous young man who proposed to his girlfriend mid-flight, landing later in Springboro in -3F.  If you are wondering, she said "Y-y-y-y-y-y-y-y-es!!!!!!"

Bell'Aria

Bell'Aria, which is Italian for beautiful air, was built and delivered in 2009 to Bella Balloons.  She stands nearly 80 feet tall, and holds 120,000 cubic feet of hot air.  Her enormous basket accommodates pilot plus 6 passengers very comfortably.  Bell'Aria has flown hundreds of passengers, and has attended the MidUSA Balloon Challenge in Middletown, Red Stewart Airshow in Waynesville, the Warren County Fair, and numerous other venues.  Bell'Aria holds the distinction as our "family balloon", and proudly serves as "date night balloon" since up to 6 passengers (3 couples) can fly together most times of the year.

Smiley

Smiley was also built and delivered in 2010, our second new balloon for the year.  He stands nearly 80 feet tall, and holds 120,000 cubic feet of hot air.  His spacious basket accommodates pilot plus 4 passengers very comfortably.  His reverse side has a winking smiley face, which adds to his personality!  Smiley arrived late in 2010, so he's only been spotted by a few lucky, happy, people.  Regardless, he is a crowd pleaser, and attracts fans of all ages wherever he goes.  He attended Cincinnati's 2010 Balluminaria, and is scheduled to attend the 2011 Indianapolis Motor Speedway's Centennial Era Celebration, the 2011 MidUSA Challenge in Middletown, and more.  Although he is new, he is already the "most requested" Bella Balloon.

Miss Scarlet

Miss Scarlet, scarlet and grey for Ohio State-GO BUCKS!, was built and delivered in 2006 to Bella Balloons.  Our only FireFly balloon, she stands 65 feet tall and holds 90,000 cubic feet of hot air.  Her basket accommodates pilot plus 2-4 passengers.  Scarlet flew hundreds of passengers in Ohio, Kentucky, & Indiana, attended numerous events, and trained several new private and commercial pilots.  She is enjoying a semi-retired life working from the ground, as she now appears only at school demonstrations and glows.  Scarlet hosted numerous mid-air engagements, weddings, tethers, and was known to fly over Ohio State University Pre-Game tailgating events.
