Safety & Weather
![]() Hot air ballooning is one of the safest forms of flight known to man. All of our pilots are certified with a Federal Aviation Administration Commercial Pilot's license. We maintain a perfect safety record. Our balloons are of the highest quality and are regularly inspected by a Federal Aviation Administration approved facility to ensure they remain in perfect working order. Additionally, both our aircraft and vehicles are insured. Weather Criteria For Your Flight Safety is our number one priority at all times, and weather conditions play the largest role in hot air balloon safety. Surface winds should not exceed 9 MPH at launch. Additionally, no thunderstorm activity or fog conditions can be in the vicinity of the flying airspace. The Pilot makes the final decision whether to fly while adhering to all Federal Aviation Regulations. Weather Underground
Please Read The Following Statement Carefully We reserve the right to cancel any flight if safety is ever in question and/or the weather conditions are deemed unfavorable by the pilot. It is important to schedule a balloon flight with a back-up date in mind just in case weather conditions on the scheduled date are unfavorable for ballooning. If neither date works out, don't worry, we will work with you! For the morning flights, we will contact our passenger(s) on the evening before the flight, between 8-9PM and the morning of the flight between 5-6AM to confirm weather conditions. For the afternoon/evening flights, we will contact our passenger(s) between 12-3PM to confirm flight arrangements. Please try to provide us with at least two (2) phone numbers where we can contact you. If your plans change please notify us as soon as possible.
